(Senior) Software Developer Embedded Systems Aerospace (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Development of software requirements and software designs for aerospace applications.
• Implementation of technical requirements and fine specifications for the optimal use of the architecture of hardware, assemblies, and microcontroller systems.
• You will take over the analysis of software plans according to DO-178C and independently drive the further development of the corresponding software processes.
• Support in the execution and coordination of tasks for software for embedded controllers of subsystems.
• Definition, programming, commissioning, and testing of Board Support Packages for electronic controller units.
• Creation of technical specifications and architecture documentation.
• Determination of requirements and the necessary verification/evidence.
• Evaluation, documentation, and communication of the results of the verification/evidence.
• Substantive and temporal coordination of tasks and work packages.
• Performance of software reviews for requirement analyses and software designs.

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, electronics, or a similar qualification.
• In-depth experience in the programming of embedded systems as well as in the independent implementation of technical requirements is desirable.
• Experience in the application and implementation of software development processes according to DO-178C is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the analysis and creation of software plans (e.g., SDP, SVP, SQAP).
• Multi-Core knowledge.
• Knowledge of various architecture patterns and their definition and design.
• Very good knowledge in low-level C programming, microcontroller programming.
• Analytical and structured way of working.
• Teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think and plan strategically.
• Profound English skills.
