Supplier Developer in Purchasing - Processes (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Ensuring the quality planning of suppliers, including evaluation and their compliance
• Coordination and monitoring of approval activities by the specialist departments
• Conducting supplier audits to identify deviations and potential for improvement, as well as initiating and following up on corrective actions
• Responsibility for the approval and extension of suppliers in the areas of surface treatment, coatings, and heat treatment
• Participation in the further development of strategically important suppliers as well as ensuring delivery capability with regard to quality and On-Time Performance (OTP)
• Acceptance of First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Conducting error and root cause analyses as well as initiating sustainable corrective and preventive actions
• Collaboration in purchasing projects, such as the implementation of APQP methods within the Supply Chain One Passion.

What you bring to the role:

• Completed degree in the field of surface technology, materials science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar qualification (e.g., state-certified electroplater with relevant professional experience)
• Ideally, good knowledge in at least one of the commodities surface treatment, coatings, or heat treatment
• Knowledge of APQP including its components (FAI, FMEA, ...) as well as in auditing (including additional qualification) is desirable
• Previous knowledge of official aviation regulations is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs
• Business fluent English
• Analytical and solution-oriented way of working
• Initiative and assertiveness
• High willingness to travel
