Laboratory Control Technician in the Chemical Industry (M/F)

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions, a recruitment consulting firm, specialized temporary staffing, transition management, and expert, executive, and manager assessment, is looking for its industrial client based in Charmes, a Materials Laboratory Technician in CDI (m/f).

Your Missions

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will participate in the implementation and execution of tests within the laboratory, as part of the development of new products, the qualification of components and materials, failure expertise, product certification, customer tests, and support to production units.

As such, your main responsibilities are as follows: Analyze test requests and contribute to their planning

• Evaluate risks related to the execution of tests
• Define the most suitable measurement methods and testing means
• Implement equipment and testing means
• Perform tests in accordance with internal procedures, specifications, and current standards
• Process, analyze, and synthesize results in test reports
• Participate in continuous improvement regarding safety, environment, quality, and productivity
• Develop and maintain work procedures
• Participate in laboratory development projects
• Ensure the proper upkeep of the laboratory following Lean logic
• Welcome and accompany visits from customers or external stakeholders
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for technical expertise, depending on the scope of the position

Profile Description:

Holding a minimum of a Bac+2 level qualification or equivalent, you possess technical skills in laboratory work, testing, measurement, and analysis of results. You also have the following skills: Knowledge of standards applicable to testing

• Proficiency in specialized software and office tools
• Ability to write test reports, technical notes, procedures, and minutes
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and environmental requirements
