Methods Technician (m/f) (M/F)

LHH Recruitment Solutions, a recruitment consulting firm, specialized temporary staffing, transition management, and expert assessment for executives and managers, is searching for its client, a Product Support Technician / Methods Technician M/F.

You report to the Technical Manager and work in close collaboration with internal teams, other company sites, sales companies within our commercial network, and suppliers.

Within the Châtellerault establishment, you act as the technical liaison for the sales companies and support the quality, production, purchasing, and customer service departments. Your main missions are as follows:

• Respond to technical questions from sales companies and support them in the definition and choice of products according to their industrial applications (valves, positioners, servomotors, accessories, etc.).
• Carry out studies for special products, from their quotation to their realization.
• Create and manage codes, process sheets, and bills of materials for products.
• Manage technical documentation for products in series production and guarantee the compliance of products manufactured at other sites within the GSC division.
• Assist and train various departments in the use of PLM and monitor the progress of ECR/ECO.
• Analyze deviation requests, participate in quality feedback analyses, and product modifications.
• Manage technical files and PED of finished products and, if necessary, define characterization or investigation test plans.

With a technical background, you have knowledge in industrial mechanics and/or regulation, ideally with a good mastery of steam networks. You are comfortable with CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks, as well as with ERP and PLM environments. Knowledge of PED regulations and standards applicable to products is an asset. An English level allowing for communication via email, videoconference, and telephone is expected.
