People Advisor

Brighton | Up to £45,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a broad, commercially focused People Advisor role?

I'm working with a fast-growing organisation that is looking for a People Advisor to join its People & Culture team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR generalist who enjoys working closely with managers, navigating complex ER matters and contributing to wider people initiatives.

The Role

You'll be a trusted point of contact for managers across the business, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice across the employee lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and advising on complex employee relations cases
• Coaching and supporting managers across all levels
• Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance
• Supporting employment legislation updates and best practice
• Working closely with People Business Partners on strategic projects
• Contributing to organisational change and M&A activity
• Using people data and insight to identify trends and measure impact

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Strong HR generalist experience
• Solid employee relations experience
• Confidence advising and coaching managers
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• A commercially minded and data-driven approach
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• CIPD qualification or working towards it

Location: Brighton (hybrid 2 to 3 days in the office) Salary: Up to £45,000
