Industrial Production Director (M/F)

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions, a recruitment consulting firm specializing in temporary work, transition management, and the assessment of experts, executives, and leaders, is searching for its industrial client based in the Vosges for a Production Director in a permanent contract (m/f).

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

Production Management

• Organize, plan, and supervise all production activities.
• Monitor the progress of custom manufacturing and anticipate potential bottlenecks.
• Guarantee the achievement of cost, quality, and deadline objectives.
• Implement and monitor the indicators necessary for managing the activity.
• Analyze performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Team Management

• Directly manage a team of approximately 15 permanent employees, reinforced depending on activity by about ten temporary workers.
• Coordinate more broadly a scope that can represent 25 to 30 people, in connection with local management and support functions.
• Organize temporary staffing needs and ensure the follow-up of their integration.
• Support teams on a daily basis, develop their skills, and strengthen their autonomy.

Quality, Safety, and Continuous Improvement

• Ensure the application of procedures and best practices within the workshops.
• Identify malfunctions and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement processes regarding organization, flows, productivity, and working conditions.
• Develop a culture of industrial performance based on pragmatism and team involvement.

Coordination and Communication

• Ensure good coordination between production, Management, and various support services, notably quality, safety, and technical functions.
• Participate in decisions relating to the organization and industrial priorities of the site.
• Provide regular reporting to Management.
• Participate, when necessary, in exchanges with other entities of the group, notably in English.

Proposed Conditions

• Gross annual remuneration between €50,000 and €80,000 depending on experience and level of autonomy.

Profile Description:

The position is open to different levels of seniority. You could notably be an engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment with significant initial management experience, an experienced team leader wishing to evolve toward a position with greater responsibility, or a workshop manager or confirmed production manager wishing to expand their scope.

Higher education in the industrial, technical, or production field is appreciated. However, solid experience acquired in the field will be studied with the same attention.

You master the following fundamentals: operational management of production teams, organization and planning of activity, management of priorities, resources, and contingencies, management of safety, quality, cost, and deadline challenges, knowledge of constraints and standards applicable in an industrial environment, analysis of malfunctions and implementation of corrective actions, management and follow-up of temporary personnel, transversal work with support services and Management.

Experience in a custom manufacturing environment, in small series or with high variability, will be a real asset.

An English level allowing participation in professional exchanges with the group is expected.
