Purchasing Procurement Officer (M/F)

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions, a recruitment consulting firm, specialized temporary staffing, transition management, and expert, executive, and manager assessment, is looking for its client, a Purchasing Procurement Officer (m/f) on a CDI basis located in South Touraine.

Reporting to the Purchasing and Production Manager, your mission is to negotiate, select, and procure all materials and/or products necessary for the company's production from French or international suppliers, based on defined volume, cost, and lead time objectives.

Follow orders, from order placement to payment.

In charge of defining and maintaining a supplier panel.

Your missions are:

Sourcing and supplier consultation

• Prepare and send the consultation file based on a list of suppliers
• Search for suppliers, utilize the internal database and other resources, request priced quotes

• Qualify suppliers through comparative analysis (benchmarking) and competitive bidding
• Create a short-listed panel of suppliers for the client

• Perform regulatory, technical, economic, competitive, and supplier monitoring that could impact the project, in connection with the design, production, and quality departments.

Processing of needs and orders

• Monitor needs according to the production schedule
• Convert needs into purchase requisitions

Order follow-up

• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders
• Monitor lead times and prices

• Follow up with suppliers and alert management in case of deviations
• Research the causes of disputes and find solutions

• Enter and update supplier and transaction data in the ERP
• Organize transport

Profile Description:

Profile sought:

With a Bac+2 level or higher in the field of Purchasing and/or Procurement (BTS international trade, technical-sales, NRC, DUT Technique) or a first experience in the field of Purchasing and/or Procurement.

Key Skills: Knowledge of the purchasing process and the logistics and supply chain

• Knowledge of negotiation techniques and different modes of supplier consultation
• Comfort on the phone

• Mastery of Excel
• Knowledge of the ERP SAP is appreciated

• Technical and mechanical knowledge is appreciated
• Interact and exchange in a foreign language (English) orally and in writing

• Understand and process written and oral information from a foreign language (English) Rigor, ability to manage priorities, tenacity, listening skills
