Polyvalent Sea Freight Forwarder

Our client is a stable, international logistics player, located in the spacious region around Deurne. You will join a close-knit and relatively quiet team with a very pleasant atmosphere. There is plenty of laughter, and every first Friday of the month, a cozy group lunch is on the program.

In this role as Polyvalent Sea Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for the complete A to Z follow-up of sea freight. You will be assigned your own client portfolio, which makes your work very tangible and ensures a close bond with your customers. From the booking to the checking of the files and the final invoicing: you take charge. You do not have to worry about price management, allowing you to focus 100% on providing flawless service.

Job Description

• Arranging and following up on transports (both FCL and LCL) from A to Z.
• Correctly booking shipments into the system.
• Meticulously checking and handling the complete transport files.
• Providing the final invoicing for your fixed client portfolio.
• Negotiating transport quotes with customers and prospects.

Profile

• Possesses at least two years of experience as a forwarder.
• Speaks and writes fluent French and English, so you can effectively assist international customers.
• Experience with FCL and LCL is a plus.
• You have strong geographical insight and enjoy thinking along about smart route optimization.
