Your tasks:

  • independent conceptual-theoretical work regarding the subject areas of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship-Interventions
  • independent planning, implementation, and supervision of scientific quantitative evaluation studies on the topic of Entrepreneurship-Interventions
  • independent implementation of Train-the-Trainer workshops at partner universities as well as administration of research projects in the field of Entrepreneurship-Interventions
  • scientific support in research and teaching in the work areas of the professorship
  • independent supervision of students
  • own scientific further qualification (e.g., Habilitation)
  • holding of teaching courses in the amount of 4 SWS (including the supervision of internships, examination activities for academic examinations, and student advisory services)

Your profile:

  • completed or in the final stages of an above-average doctorate (Dr. phil.) in the field of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Interventions
  • interest in the subject areas of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship-Interventions, particularly in countries of the Global South, demonstrated by the implementation of corresponding research projects
  • understanding of and interest in scientific work on the topic of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship-Interventions, demonstrated by high-ranking publications (e.g., Journal of Applied Psychology) as well as participation in conferences (e.g., AOM, Babson Entrepreneurship Conference)
  • experience in securing third-party funding, e.g., from scholarships or fellowships
  • several years of experience in project management, especially in the context of international intervention projects
  • several years of experience in the development and evaluation of Entrepreneurship-Interventions in countries of the Global South (especially in Sub-Saharan Africa), including on-site
  • several years of experience in the implementation and management of workshops and teaching courses in countries of the Global South
  • excellent English skills as well as advanced French skills
  • excellent methodological and statistical skills in the field of quantitative empirical research, demonstrated by relevant publications that include such methodological and statistical skills
  • willingness to travel to partner countries, especially of the Global South
  • interest in publishing in English-language specialist journals, demonstrated by relevant publications
  • independent working style and interdisciplinary perception, above-average commitment
  • willingness to participate in larger research projects and in university self-administration
  • intercultural competence, acquired through several months of stays abroad (especially in Sub-Saharan Africa) and ideally in connection with interventions
