For an international market leader in Roeselare, Let's Work is looking for a production technician in 2 shifts.

You are responsible for technical support within an automated production environment including CNC machines, robots, milling and sawing machines, among others. In the event of malfunctions, you analyze and resolve the problem as efficiently as possible, while also being responsible for preventive maintenance and improvements to the machine park. What do your tasks look like?

• You trace, analyze, and pragmatically resolve technical malfunctions in the machine park so that production can quickly resume
• After technical interventions, you document the performed activities and solutions
• You carry out preventive maintenance according to the existing maintenance plan
• Together with the Technical Manager, you develop improvement ideas and ensure their practical execution
• Within the machine park, you work with, among others, CNC machines, milling and sawing machines, handling and pick & place robots, and welding robots
• In case of technical problems, you take independent responsibility and search specifically for a workable solution
• A technical diploma with prior knowledge in electromechanics forms the basis for this position
• Experience within an industrial production environment is important, preferably with CNC, robots, fully automatic production lines, and machine maintenance
• Knowledge of motors and transmissions, compressed air, hydraulics, electricity, and HMI is an advantage
• Experience with welding is a must; a VCA certificate and a certificate for forklift or aerial work platform are a plus
• Speaking fluent English is important for internal communication on the shop floor. You are also proficient with basic PC applications
• You are hands-on, independent, eager to learn, and result-oriented, and you highly value 5S and safe handling of valuable equipment
