At the Hohenwestedt location, we are looking for an ambitious and committed Group Leader Logistics/Assembly Engineering to support our Industrial Engineering team at the earliest possible date. Your Key Responsibilities

LESER is realigning its assembly and logistics processes at the Hohenwestedt location. The goal is to significantly increase productivity, process stability, and flexibility through the development of a modular assembly system. You will lead a team at the interface between logistics, assembly, IT, production, and engineering in an environment that actively promotes innovation, technology affinity, and forward-looking planning.

• Planning and redesigning the LESER assembly system, taking into account flexibility, variety of variants, scalability, automatability, and digitalization
• Planning and setting up a digital, automated logistics system
• Leading and managing automation projects - from the concept phase to commissioning
• Standardization and consistent further development of all processes - with a focus on Robotics, sensor technology, automation technology, and data integration
• Designing systemic and mechanical interfaces in existing material flow chains
• Digitalization of all logistics processes, including integration into SAP S/4HANA, EWM, and MES
• Development of innovative storage and material flow concepts, including layout planning
• Use of LEAN methods such as WSA, KAIZEN, 5S for continuous improvement
• Personnel management of the "Logistics/ Assembly Engineering" team, continuous further development of the team

Your Profile

• Completed degree in the field of engineering or industrial engineering - ideally with a focus on logistics or automation technology
• Several years of experience in designing modern assembly and logistics systems
• Demonstrable expertise in automation, digitalization, and Robotics of assembly and logistics processes, as well as very good know-how in transport, handling, and warehouse logistics
• Experience with ERP and logistics systems (SAP, EWM)
• Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and project management competence
• Proficient use of MS Office and good English skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
