Reporting to the Northern and Western Europe Sales Manager of the Fermentis Business Unit, you will ensure, for your markets, the commercial and technical development of yeasts and yeast derivatives intended for the production of beer, wines, fermented beverages, and spirits, thereby contributing to margin development. In this capacity, you will:

  • Develop sales according to set objectives, through the animation and development of your existing distribution network and/or the search for new distributors/customers,
  • Provide technical, commercial, and marketing support (presentations, trials, technical advice, training...) to your customers and prospects,
  • Participate in the drafting of technical data sheets, presentations, and publications,
  • Participate in trade fairs, seminars, and conferences,
  • Conduct market studies and product segment studies on potential, competitors, and specificities, and maintain your network of professionals, specialists, R&D, etc.
  • Ensure, in liaison with internal support services, the highest level of service provided to your customers regarding their orders,
  • Oversee the handling of customer complaints in liaison with the technical and quality departments,
  • Propose each year the commercial, marketing, and travel budget and corresponding action plans for your segments and markets, then ensure their implementation and monitoring,
  • Perform regular reporting of your activity to your Manager.

Training and technical skills: Engineering degree in agro/agri or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of commercial, technical, or marketing experience in the brewing/fermented beverages sector (ideally in B2B and in an international context). You are passionate about brewing culture and wish to share it. Fluent English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Office 365 tools. Behavioral skills: Effective listening and communication; ability to act autonomously and take proactive initiatives. Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, customer-solution oriented. Strong and diplomatic communication, open-mindedness, analytical and synthesis skills. Ability to build customer relationships and identify opportunities for and with the customer.

This position is based in Marquette-lez-Lille (59), France and requires approximately 50% travel within the area.
