Lesaffre is strengthening its Accounting team with a position of General Accountant. Within the Shared Services Center, and under the responsibility of the Pole Manager, you will contribute to the management of the General Accounting & Reporting activity (7 people in total) in compliance with current French legislation and within the deadlines assigned to you.

The main missions of the General Accounting and Reporting Pole are as follows: Payment of social security contributions according to the elements transmitted by the HR department. Monthly VAT declaration and annual reconciliation. Production and control of declarations for the exchange of goods (DEB) and services (DES). Banking operations and bank reconciliations. Management of fixed assets under French standards and IFRS. Various declarations (DAS2, DAS travel expenses, annual mileage declaration, dividends, transfer pricing...). Management of travel expenses. Management of reconciliations with sister companies in connection with the supplier and customer poles. Management of HFM group reporting while respecting deadlines. Monthly, semi-annual, and annual closing operations. Review and justification of accounts relating to the pole. Data analysis, identification, and resolution of anomalies. Preparation of the tax return. Active participation in various projects within the SSC. Tax declarations (TVTS, CET, IS...) and tax monitoring. Relationship with our statutory auditors. Updating operating procedures. You will actively participate in monthly closings and the annual Balance Sheet.

A graduate with a BAC+2/+3 such as a BTS Comptabilité et Gestion, BUT GEA option Gestion comptable, Licence Comptabilité or equivalent, you have 8 to 10 years of experience in Accounting, particularly in General Accounting and Reporting. You master the principles and standards (at least IFRS 16 and IAS 19) as well as the calculation of current tax and deferred tax. Knowledge of Dutch accounting and Dutch taxation would be a plus. You are proficient in the Office Pack and are comfortable with IT and collaborative tools. Knowledge of SAP and HPM (Hyperion Financial Management) would be a plus. In an international context, professional proficiency in English is necessary (B2). You are rigorous, curious, and know how to demonstrate good organizational skills to complete the requested tasks. Your analytical and concentration skills will be key elements for the success of your missions. Possessing interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in a team and with multiple collaborators.
