Act as a technical reference in the management and optimization of industrial utilities systems, promoting operational, energy, and economic efficiency gains. Lead the identification and implementation of improvements in the generation and distribution of steam, water, electricity, industrial refrigeration, and thermal systems, ensuring maximum reliability, sustainability, and competitiveness for the business.
Act as an agent of transformation for operational efficiency, combining process engineering, energy management, sustainability, and technological innovation to reduce costs, increase industrial competitiveness, and support the company's growth strategy.
Degree completed in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related areas. Experience in industrial utilities and energy management. Knowledge in: Thermodynamics and heat transfer; Boilers and steam systems; Cooling towers and chemical treatment; Chillers and industrial refrigeration; Industrial electricity and tariff management; Thermal and energy balances; Energy efficiency indicators.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Knowledge of Power BI, Advanced Excel, supervisory systems, and industrial data analysis. Intermediate English.
Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies, utility cost reduction, and industrial sustainability. Conduct energy, thermal, and water balance analyses, identifying losses and optimization opportunities. Evaluate the performance of systems such as: Boilers and steam generation; Steam and condensate networks; Cooling towers; Chillers and refrigeration systems; Industrial electrical systems; Water treatment and industrial effluents.
Lead continuous improvement, automation, digitalization, and technological modernization projects for utilities. Monitor energy and operational performance indicators, proposing corrective and preventive actions. Perform benchmarking and constant evaluation of the status quo of operations, incorporating market best practices. Work alongside Operation, Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement areas to maximize asset availability, reliability, and efficiency. Coordinate performance evaluations of heat exchangers, radiators, energy recovery systems, and chemical treatment of towers and boilers. Develop technical and economic feasibility studies for investments (CAPEX) and operational optimizations (OPEX). Support regulatory compliance programs related to NR-10, NR-13, ISO 50001, operational safety, and the environment. Continuously evaluate the performance of systems consuming chemical products, performing operational adjustments, dosage corrections, and root cause analyses to ensure process stability and efficient use of inputs. Must reside in Quatá, Paraguaçu Paulista, João Ramalho, or Rancharia.
