Maritime Import/Export Specialist Coordinator UK (M/F)
LIP Office agency is looking for a maritime import/export specialist coordinator M/F for one of its clients in the transport sector.
Bilingual English mandatory. Mastery of incoterms mandatory. Software: Microsoft Office - CargoWise
You will be the main point of contact for clients for the management of orders, requests, and follow-ups. You will ensure exceptional customer service.
Your missions:
- Prepare and establish accurate quotations and price offers for import and export shipments
- Manage all ocean freight operations and monitor their proper execution
- Prepare, control, and process all maritime, customs, and regulatory documentation necessary for import/export operations
- Create, update, and manage shipment files in CargoWise, ensuring data accuracy throughout the transport cycle
- Effectively coordinate exchanges with shipping lines, freight forwarders, carriers, customs authorities, agents, and commercial partners to ensure fluidity and regulatory compliance
- Ensure fluid and proactive communication between different offices, clients, agents, and service providers regarding shipment progress
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and service providers to foster loyalty and business growth, and quality levels
- Proactively track shipments and regularly inform clients of their status while anticipating and managing any potential delays or anomalies
- Identify, analyze, and quickly resolve operational problems to minimize disruptions and maintain service excellence
- Perform client invoicing and control supplier invoices in compliance with financial procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, current regulations, and international maritime transport standards
Position from Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 18:00 Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics sector, with expertise in import/export ocean transit. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field preferred. Experience in customs clearance is an asset.
