Mechanical Design Project Manager (M/F)
Reporting to the R&D Manager and integrated into the Fabrication Additive team, you will participate in the development of innovative projects with high technical value, from the feasibility study to the manufacturing of special machines.
Your missions:
Perform technical feasibility studies and contribute to exchanges with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, Participate in the costing and definition of technical solutions during the pre-project phase, Design, adapt, and optimize parts for metallic fabrication additive, taking into account functional, industrial, and economic requirements, Perform detailed design studies: 3D modeling, drafting, functional dimensioning, numerical simulations, and topological optimizations, Define 3D printing strategies: part orientation, supports, manufacturing parameters, and production time estimation, Ensure technical monitoring of manufacturing and accompany parts through to their qualification, Participate in product industrialization and ensure technical transfer to production teams, Contribute to risk analyses and continuous improvement of processes, Participate in internal and external R&D projects related to the development of new materials, processes, and applications, Write technical reports, justification files, and qualification documents. Master's degree (Bac+5), engineering school in mechanical design, or a PhD in mechanical engineering, with 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical product design. Excellent mastery of mechanical design. Mastery of Solidworks. Good knowledge of functional dimensioning (GPS), tolerancing, and drafting. Skills in mechanical calculation and/or numerical simulation (finite elements). Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, assembly...) and ideally metallic fabrication additive (LPBF). A good understanding of metallic materials and their behaviors. An ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a demanding industrial environment. A good level of technical English.
