Automation Design Engineer (M/F)
Our client is a recognized player in industrial engineering, specializing in automation, electricity, and industrial computing. Located in South Finistère (29), they design, implement, and maintain installations for clients in various sectors, notably the agri-food and maritime industries, which are very present in the region. Attached to a national group, they combine the resources of a solid structure with the agility of a human-sized agency, where everyone knows their colleagues and follows their projects from start to finish. To support its development, it is recruiting an Automation Design Engineer on a CDI basis.
The position:
You will join the design office, a team where mutual aid and skill sharing are part of daily life. You will work in direct connection with other design engineers, business technicians, site teams, and QHSE referents. Your external interlocutors include clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and inspection bodies. Depending on the projects, you will alternate between the office, the company's workshops for commissioning phases, and client sites. Based on the instructions provided, you will take charge of the studies entrusted to you, from the analysis of the needs to commissioning. ? You analyze the input documents of the file and identify the key points ? You obtain validation from the client or your manager before launching the implementation phases ? You program or design the automation solutions adapted to each installation ? You carry out the procurement requests necessary to meet deadlines ? You participate in commissioning, in the company's premises and then on-site, alongside the site teams ? You ensure the technical follow-up of your files and report progress to your manager You respect budgets and the client's specifications, you report discrepancies as soon as they appear, you produce studies in compliance with current standards, and you ensure compliance with deadlines and safety rules throughout the project.
Profile sought:
You hold a degree in electrotechnics, electronics, or automation, or you have equivalent experience acquired in the field. You master English at a minimum A2 level. You are comfortable with professional software such as TIA Portal, InTouch, Wonderware, SEE Electrical, Autocad, Caneco, or SolidWorks. Curious, rigorous, and comfortable in exchanges with various interlocutors, you appreciate both design work and time spent in the field. Initial experience in an automation design office is a plus, but motivated junior profiles are welcome, as the company invests in the skill development of its employees.
