Quality Assurance Controller | Stockholm

Do you want to work operationally with quality control in a production-oriented environment in Stockholm? We are looking for a meticulous and committed senior Quality Assurance Controller for a consulting assignment via Lernia. The role is suitable for you who enjoy both practical quality work, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that products and processes meet agreed requirements.

About the position

As a Quality Assurance Controller, you will become a key person in the quality and production organization. You are responsible for daily quality control, deviation management, and ensuring that processes follow internal routines and customer requirements. The work involves close collaboration with production, engineering, suppliers, and customer contact when necessary. You will also contribute to improvement projects and the implementation of corrective actions.

Start: According to agreement.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment/contract via Lernia with the possibility of extension or transition to the client.

Location: Stockholm.

For the position, it is required that you are a citizen of a NATO country and can undergo and pass a background and security check.

Your tasks

• Act as a requirement setter and contribute to the strategic development of the company's global quality management system (QMS).
• Plan, lead, and conduct strategic quality audits of internal processes as well as critical suppliers.
• Drive and develop CAPA processes at a high level, as well as identify and implement long-term improvement measures.
• Coach and support junior colleagues and train the organization in quality work and advanced QA processes.
• Represent the company during external audits, authority inspections, and customer reviews.

About you

You are structured, solution-oriented, and have an eye for detail. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating across departments to achieve common goals. You work systematically, prioritize safety and quality, and can handle multiple tasks in parallel in a fast-paced environment.

Formal competence

• Relevant engineering education or another equivalent technical or academic degree.
• At least 5–8 years of documented experience in qualified quality work (QA) within a regulated industry, for example, the defense, aerospace, space, automotive, or medical technology industry.
• Deep knowledge of the quality standard ISO 9001. Experience with AS9100, AQAP, or other defense-related quality standards.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English (English is the working language); Swedish occurs in internal communication.
