MRP-specialist | Stockholm

Our client is in an exciting growth phase and is undergoing an extensive digital development journey. We are now seeking a Senior MRP Specialist who wants to take a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing the company's future processes and systems for material and production planning.

About the position

As a Senior MRP Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of the company's supply chain. You will be responsible for building, developing, and optimizing MRP processes with a focus on creating efficient and sustainable ways of working. The role involves significant individual responsibility where you contribute to ensuring well-functioning material and production planning that meets the business's high quality and delivery requirements.

Start: According to agreement.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment/contract via Lernia with the possibility of extension or transition to the client.

Location: Stockholm.

For the position, it is required that you are a citizen of a NATO country and that you can undergo and pass a background and security check.

Your tasks

• Lead the implementation and setup of the company's MRP systems as well as ensure an effective establishment of processes and ways of working.
• Structure, maintain, and optimize master data, Bills of Materials (BOM), and lead times to create reliable material planning.
• Develop and improve processes for material requirements planning, inventory management, and production planning.
• Act as an internal expert and super-user by training and supporting purchasers, logisticians, and production managers in the MRP system.
• Ensure that MRP systems and processes meet the business's requirements for traceability, quality, and security.

About you

You are structured, problem-solving oriented, and have an analytical mind. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating across departments to achieve common goals. You work systematically and can handle multiple tasks in parallel in a changing pace.

Formal competence

• Relevant degree in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, or an equivalent engineering education.
• Several years of documented experience in supply chain and production planning, with a particular focus on implementing, configuring, and developing MRP modules in ERP systems, for example Odoo, MRPeasy, or integrations between Jira and MRP systems.
• Deep knowledge of master data, capacity planning, and material flows within the manufacturing industry.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is a requirement, as English is the working language. Swedish is a merit and is used to some extent in daily communication between colleagues.
