Client Relationship Officer (PB)

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sell structured products and derivative solutions across asset classes and payoffs to an existing portfolio of Private Banking and Wealth Management clients in Asia.
• Take primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and execution of the platform business, including handling client requests, pricing, trade execution, booking follow-up and coordination with relevant internal teams.
• Ensure a high level of responsiveness and execution quality across platform flows, while actively identifying opportunities to grow volumes, revenues and client penetration.
• Proactively manage and develop existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities and increase share of wallet.
• Support senior sales in client coverage while progressively taking direct ownership of selected client relationships and developing into an independent revenue-generating salesperson.
• Identify relevant market themes and investment opportunities and translate them into actionable trade ideas and product solutions for clients.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' investment needs, product appetite, decision-making processes and competitive environment to identify cross-selling and business development opportunities.
• Coordinate the complete transaction lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution, booking, settlement and after-sales service.
• Work closely with Sales Support, Structuring, Trading, Product Services, Legal & Compliance, Middle Office and Back Office to ensure efficient execution and resolve operational matters.
• Contribute to the development of the Private Banking franchise in Asia through client acquisition, platform development, product initiatives and other strategic projects.
• Develop and embody Leonteq's entrepreneurial, client-centric and service-oriented culture.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial markets, structured products, derivatives, private banking, wealth management, sales, structuring or a related role.
• Good understanding of financial markets and structured products; previous exposure to derivatives and/or structured-product distribution is a strong advantage.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel; programming or automation skills are an advantage
• Fluent in English, and Cantonese or Mandarin due to client coverage needs
• Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in developing client relationships and generating business.
• Highly execution-oriented, with the ability to manage a significant volume of platform transactions accurately, efficiently and with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proactive, curious and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and take ownership.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to interact with both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, trading-floor environment, manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to contribute to projects, process improvements and the continued development of the Asian franchise.
• Strong risk and compliance mindset, with sound judgement and a clear understanding that commercial objectives must be achieved within the firm's regulatory, conduct and control framework.
