Your area of responsibility:

As an IT Field Service Engineer, you will take over the support and further development of our client environment and will be a central contact person for our users. In this important function, you ensure that our employees can rely on a reliable and modern IT infrastructure every day.

• Installation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of PCs, notebooks, and their software

• Processing of support requests in 2nd Level Support

• Analysis and rectification of hardware and software faults

• Installation, support, and maintenance of printers as well as peripheral devices

• Support and further development of Mobile Device Management

• Support in the maintenance of meeting and conference rooms

• Installation, testing, adaptation, and maintenance of laboratory, weighing, and other special devices

• Collaboration in ensuring a stable and efficient IT operation

Our expectations

• Completed technical training (apprenticeship, technical college, or HTL with an IT focus)

• Several years of experience in the field of client hardware, operating systems, and standard software

• Good knowledge in the support of printers and peripheral devices

• Experience in Mobile Device Management is an advantage

• Experience in the support of meeting rooms or video conferencing systems is an advantage

• Knowledge in handling laboratory or weighing systems is an advantage

• Good English skills in speaking and writing

• Service-oriented, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

• High communication skills and enjoyment in interacting with users

For this position, based on a 38-hour week, a monthly gross salary of at least EUR 3,500.- is expected, based on the collective agreement for the chemical industry.

Based on your individual qualifications and position-relevant professional experience, we are prepared to offer overpayment.

In addition, you will participate in the Lenzing bonus system.
