Lenntech B.V is an international company located in the Netherlands that provides water treatment solutions around the world. The company of nearly 60 employees and 20 different nationalities is divided into several departments: processes for the sizing and sale of systems, R&D for research on innovative technologies, engineering for project execution, and a spare parts sales department (examples: membranes, filters, pumps, ...).

Offer:

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the intern will work with engineers, masters and doctorates alike and discover a wide range of technologies such as reverse osmosis, ion exchange and electrodialysis. Continuous training will be given on technologies, products and processes depending on research projects the intern is involved in.

The internship will be involved in the following tasks:

• Lab research

Performance tests on new membranes and for new applications, proofs of concept studies and optimization of operating conditions at lab scale.

• Pilot scale testing

Study of the system performance and data collection for further up-scaling: known issues, feasibility and operating conditions etc.

• R&D support

Bibliographical studies and support of on-going projects.

Requirements:

• In engineering school/university in master's degree (first or second year).
• Fluent in English.
• Interest in processes and the environment.
• Flexible, autonomous, curious, team spirit and committed.
• In possession of EU passport/working permit for the Netherlands.
