Site Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

Report to the Director and manage the day-to-day coordination and supervision of site activities.

Plan, schedule and monitor site works to ensure projects are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, construction requirements and project schedules.

Lead and supervise site teams of up to 25 personnel and coordinate works with subcontractors and suppliers.

Handle on-site technical matters, including site measurements, review of shop drawings and resolution of construction issues.

Prepare and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, progress reports and other required site documentation.

Coordinate with Professional Engineers, consultants, clients and relevant government agencies, including LTA, BCA, HDB and PUB, where applicable.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, site safety procedures and regulatory requirements, including conducting or coordinating Toolbox Meetings (TBM) and ensuring safe work practices on site.

Monitor project progress and assist in ensuring works are completed according to schedule, quality requirements and approved budget.

Perform other project or site-related duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.
• Experience in LTA, HDB, and/or PUB projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of site coordination, work planning, scheduling and construction supervision.
• * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Able to prepare and review site-related technical and safety documentation.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills with the ability to handle technical and site-related issues.
• Able to lead and coordinate site personnel effectively.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team.
• Able to manage multiple site responsibilities and work within project schedules.
• Willing and able to work a 6-day work week and day or night shifts where required due to project and site operational requirements.
