Category & Channel Development Manager (m/w/d)

What will you do?

• Central point of contact for all strategic and operational Category Management topics for internal and external stakeholders
• Independent management and implementation of Category Management projects, including consulting, concept development, coordination, and success monitoring
• Data-driven and shopper-oriented assortment management for the channel/customer as well as location-based macro space planning
• Conception and optimization of promotion-related measures, including price, advertising material, and placement recommendations to activate sales potential
• Execution of category and ad-hoc analyses, including derivation of measures and recommendations for action
• Training and professional empowerment of operational units to ensure the sustainable anchoring of the Category Management approach and the developed optimization measures

What do you bring with you?

• Successfully completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification in a retail environment.
• Several years of experience in Category Management and project management, ideally in trade/retail, including GS1 certification as a Category Manager.
• Strong food affinity as well as sound assortment and product knowledge.
• Analytical-strategic mindset combined with a proactive, solution-oriented hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication personality with a confident appearance at all levels, who develops and successfully implements innovative solutions and possesses very good MS-Office and good English skills.
