The Child and Education Administration includes preschool, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, after-school centers, gymnasium, as well as adult education. Currently, just over 200 employees work in our administration.

We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering secure care and stimulating learning environments. We work actively with guiding interaction and base our work on the children's and students' prerequisites and their personal abilities.

Lekebergsskolan 7–9 is a middle school in central Fjugesta with approximately 330 students. With us, we work to create a secure, inclusive, and developing learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

We believe in the importance of good relationships, clarity, and high expectations. At the school, there is close cooperation between teachers, student health, and school management, and we work continuously to develop teaching through collegial learning and systematic quality work.

We are looking for you who want to work as a teacher at Lekebergsskolan 7–9. The position is a substitute at 100 percent where the teaching will primarily be in English.

We are open to different subject combinations, and your second teaching subject can therefore vary depending on your qualification and experience.

As a teacher with us, you will become part of a team where you together work for the students' knowledge development, security, and well-being. We value cooperation and consider it a matter of course that we help each other and take a collective responsibility for our students.

Tasks

The position includes planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in English as well as an additional subject based on your qualification. You work actively to create teaching that is clear, structured, and accessible for students with different needs and prerequisites.

Mentorship is included in the position. Together with other mentors and colleagues, you work to create a secure and functioning school day for the students and have ongoing contact with guardians.

You are also expected to contribute to the school's collective development work and be an active part of both the team and the school's collegial work.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who is a licensed teacher with qualification to teach English for grades 7–9. Qualification in an additional subject is meritorious, and we are open to different subject combinations.

We are looking for you who:

has clear leadership in the classroom and the ability to create structure and study peace builds good and trusting relationships with students has high expectations of the students and believes in their ability to develop is flexible and solution-oriented enjoys collaborating and contributing to the collective work at the school.

We would prefer if you have experience teaching in middle school, but we also welcome you who are at the beginning of your teaching career.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
