For our Supply Chain Management service area, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in full-time to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Independent conduct of contract and price negotiations for raw materials as well as indirect requirements
- Development and implementation of sustainable purchasing strategies based on global procurement market analyses
- Active development, evaluation, and continuous optimization of our supplier portfolio
- Bundling of purchasing activities to increase efficiency and synergies
- Identification and realization of savings potential while considering quality and security of supply
- Analysis and further development of existing purchasing processes as well as ensuring compliance with guidelines and compliance requirements
- Taking over and managing projects in procurement
Your competencies
- Completed commercial training combined with relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement
- Strong sense of responsibility as well as a high degree of flexibility, combined with a proactive, independent, and structured way of working
- Experience in project management as well as the ability to manage projects in a goal-oriented manner
- High technical affinity, especially for supporting and evaluating demanding investment projects
- Sound knowledge of price and contract design
- Very good English skills, confident handling of MS Office and SAP
