At Leemberg, we're looking for an experienced First Pipefitter who can independently handle complex piping systems in industrial and maritime environments. You’ll work on high-end installations — from piping on shipyards to advanced systems in food processing plants.

You’ll read technical drawings and isometrics, prepare and install piping systems, and tack-weld using MIG/MAG, TIG or electrode techniques. You’ll work closely with the project team, contribute ideas for practical solutions, and ensure quality on site.

You're not just a skilled fitter — you're also a mentor to colleagues and a representative of our team on the job site.

What will you be doing?

  • Independently building piping systems for industrial and shipbuilding projects
  • Tack-welding using various techniques (MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode)
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and isometrics
  • Ensuring safe working practices according to VCA guidelines
  • Collaborating with the project team and contributing technical solutions
  • Supporting and guiding colleagues on-site
  • MBO level 2 or 3 diploma in pipefitting or several years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with MIG/MAG, TIG, or electrode welding
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and isometric views
  • VCA Basic certification (extra training like Flange Safety or Safe Hoisting is a plus)
  • Driver’s license (B) and your own transport
  • You work independently, accurately, and are solution-oriented
