Responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Senior DataOps with strong performance in Azure DevOps and previous experience with data teams. The professional will lead the deployment and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automations aimed at data engineering, contributing with DevOps best practices in data-oriented environments.

You will act in a challenging and collaborative environment, with a large volume of data, multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on scalable and resilient solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for data and analytics projects;
• Support and monitor cloud data environments (GCP), focusing on availability, security, and performance;
• Work in close collaboration with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and data infrastructure;
• Implement DataOps and DevSecOps best practices;
• Perform continuous analysis of the DevOps pipeline, promoting adjustments and improvements to support the delivery of new products and data pipelines, according to business demands and technological evolution;
• Actively participate in the evolution of the company's DevOps/DataOps architecture and strategy.

Requirements and qualifications

Mandatory requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps;
• Proven experience with GCP data tools;
• Mastery of Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards);
• Vast experience in GitOps;
• Practice with CI/CD for data projects (deployment of pipelines, SQL scripts, notebooks, Python packages);
• Experience with test automation in data pipelines;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containers applied to data;
• Experience with access control and IAM;
• Technical English (reading and writing).

Additional information

Desirable/Differential:

• Microsoft DevOps certifications;
• GCP certifications;
• Experience with DataOps, MLOps, or environments oriented toward data science;
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform);
• Experience with monitoring and observability.
