We are looking for a Software Architect to play a central role in defining and implementing the architecture of Valia solutions. This is an opportunity to join a team of innovators, contribute to large-scale distributed systems, and drive cutting-edge technological transformation in the world of fashion, automotive, and furnishing.

Mission

As a Software Architect, you will be required to:

• Define and carry the technical vision and architectural roadmap for Valia solutions, in alignment with Lectra's strategic objectives.
• Design robust, scalable, and secure microservices-based distributed architectures and event-driven systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Principal Architects, and development teams to translate business needs into sustainable technical designs.
• Guarantee best practices regarding code quality, performance, and security within the engineering teams.
• Guide and support development teams in their architectural decisions (coaching, technical leadership, knowledge sharing).
• Contribute directly to POCs, prototypes, and reference implementations to validate architectural approaches.
• Promote and integrate a DevOps culture, ensuring smooth delivery pipelines and efficient system operation.

Profile

• Education: Master's degree (Engineering school, Master in Computer Science, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in software development, with solid experience in architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven skills in:

* Microservices and event-driven architectures * Public Cloud (Microsoft Azure preferred) * Messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent) * Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) * API-first design and integration patterns

• Solid understanding of security, authentication/authorization models, and data protection in cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and observability.
• Collaborative leadership, capable of influencing, mentoring, and promoting technical excellence.
• Fluent English level is essential.
