Purchasing Manager M/F
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will take responsibility for the Purchasing department and support a team of buyers in a technical industrial environment oriented towards projects.
In this capacity, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Manage, support, and develop the skills of your team.
- Organize and steer the site's purchasing activity.
- Define and deploy the purchasing strategy in connection with industrial objectives.
- Manage purchases related to business and industrial projects, while respecting quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
- Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers and secure partnerships.
- Optimize the supplier panel and develop new sourcing options.
- Ensure the monitoring of purchasing budgets, analyze performance indicators, and identify optimization levers.
- Develop a continuous improvement approach and generate sustainable savings.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, project managers, and other group entities to develop synergies.
- Actively participate in site development projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, you have experience in industrial purchasing and wish to evolve into a role combining management, purchasing strategy, and a technical environment.
With a higher education background (Bachelor's to Master's degree) predominantly in technical, industrial, or purchasing fields, you have a successful first experience in team management.
We also remain open to profiles from industrial project management, having developed solid experience in supplier negotiation, technical purchasing, or subcontractor management.
You enjoy technical environments and know how to work in close collaboration with project teams as well as with the various departments of the company.
A professional level of English is necessary to operate in an international context.
