Agronomist
WE ARE HIRING: AGRONOMIST INTERN Location: On-site - Jakarta Selatan Type: Internship Duration: 3 months
About the Role We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Agronomist Intern to join our team in Jakarta Selatan. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in managing indoor hydroponic operations, monitoring crop health, tracking environmental data, and optimizing yield performance in a controlled environment
What you’ll do:
- Curate, create, and present detailed reports using logs and data.
- Study crop productivity, water and waste management, and apply fertilizer as needed.
- Develop planting and irrigation schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Research plant diseases, pests, and effective control methods.
- Analyze plantation performance and recommend improvements.
- Assist in core operations, including substratepreparation, seeding, crop maintenance, and harvesting.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of soil science, crop production, and plant biology.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpreting research findings.
- Excellent communication skills for advising teams and stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in Agricultural Research, Agronomy, or equivalent
- Awareness of industry trends and technology.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer troubleshooting.
- ABLE TO SPEAK and WRITE / COMPREHEND English on a professional level.
- Willing to work on site MONDAY - FRIDAY
Nice to have: Further education or additional experience in agronomy or related fields
