North London | Hybrid - 2 days in the office 6-month FTC initially, with the chance to extend | Full-time or 4 days per week 35-hour week with early Friday finishes We are working with a well-established London charity to recruit an experienced ER Change Manager for an initial six-month period, with the chance to extend. This is a key role supporting the organisation through a period of significant change and restructuring. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on employee relations and change experience who is confident managing restructuring and redundancy programmes from start to finish. Working closely with senior stakeholders and managers across the organisation, you will provide practical, commercially minded advice while ensuring all change activity is handled fairly, consistently and in line with current UK employment law. The role will include: Taking ownership of restructures, redundancies, contractual changes and wider people change activity

Supporting the development of business cases and providing ER input throughout

Leading consultation processes from planning through to completion

Advising managers and senior stakeholders on UK employment law and best practice

Identifying potential legal and employee relations risks and ensuring these are appropriately managed or escalated

Supporting and challenging stakeholders where necessary

Managing any ER issues arising from restructuring and change programmes

Ensuring change processes are well documented, legally compliant and sensitively handled

We are looking for: Strong previous experience in an ER/change-focused role

Demonstrable experience of managing restructures and redundancy programmes

Experience supporting and developing business cases for organisational change

Excellent working knowledge of current UK employment law

Confidence advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels

A pragmatic, calm and solutions-focused approach

Multi-site experience would be beneficial

Experience within a unionised environment would be an advantage

Availability to start at relatively short notice

Must be able to commute to North London for the two office-based days each week

Hours & working pattern The full-time working week is 35 hours , with hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish every Friday: 1pm finish during the winter months

3pm finish during the summer months

This is a six-month role initially, with the chance to extend , paying £53,800 per annum . The role is hybrid with two days per week based in the North London office , so candidates must be able to commute to the office on these days. The organisation is also open to considering four days per week for the right person.
