Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time role responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth across Leadway’s products and services. This hybrid position is based in Nigeria, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home activities. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying leads, presenting financial solutions to prospective and existing clients, and managing sales pipelines to achieve revenue targets. The role also involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, supporting digital and offline promotional activities, and collaborating with internal teams to align sales initiatives with brand and product strategies. The specialist will analyze market trends, prepare performance reports, and recommend improvements to enhance customer engagement and market penetration.

Qualifications

Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals. Marketing and brand promotion skills, such as campaign planning, product positioning, and stakeholder engagement. Digital marketing capabilities, including social media management, content creation, and basic analytics interpretation. Customer relationship management skills, with experience using CRM tools and maintaining long-term client partnerships. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly to diverse audiences. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including market research, data-driven decision-making, and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or a related sector is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Nigeria, manage time independently, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
