We are recruiting for a permanent position (CDI) for our client based in Orgon, a large-scale industrial group in full development, for their future Logistics & Transport Manager (M/F).
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will manage the organization of high-constraint transport flows (oversized, long parts, major maritime export) and structure all storage operations, highly customized order preparation, as well as inbound and outbound flows.
As the guarantor of operational and budgetary performance, you will orchestrate these activities across a multi-site organization including owned warehouses and outsourced/third-party sites. Your main responsibilities: Team Management: Lead and supervise 40 employees across several departments (logistics process, transport, receiving/storage, scheduling, preparation/loading). Develop versatility and maintain operational excellence within a positive social climate.
- Complex Transport and Major Export Management: Manage demanding and varied flow typologies: 60% national road transport (oversized, long length, pickup, cross-docking) and a significant major maritime export flow (-500 containers/year). Logistics Management of Industrial Projects: Coordinate the planning and global logistics management of major industrial projects spanning several months (massive shipment lots with dedicated chartering). Warehouse Optimization: Supervise the management of owned and outsourced warehouses (addressing rules, picking paths, receiving/shipping quality controls). Optimize storage areas, manage inventories, and reduce dormant stock.
- IT Projects and Continuous Improvement: Continue the deployment and optimization of the WMS. Implement and analyze performance indicators (service rate, non-quality, transport costs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safety and Regulation: Guarantee strict compliance with safety rules in loading/handling areas, as well as customs compliance and Incoterms.
Profile Description:
Profile Sought: Education and Experience: Holder of a Bac+5 / Master 2 in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain, you have solid experience of approximately 15 years in industrial logistics and transport management.
- Expertise: Imperative experience in managing complex logistics and transport flows (management of long parts / oversized, chartering, organization of industrial projects, cross-docking, and major maritime export). Skills: Fluent English (international exchanges, freight forwarders, and customs), in-depth mastery of management tools (WMS / ERP / TMS), and proven expertise in process structuring and Incoterms.
- Soft Skills: A structured, unifying, and rigorous manager. Your high availability, your ability to formalize organizations, and your mastery of heavy flows allow you to orchestrate demanding industrial operations while maintaining a good social climate.
Conditions: Contract: CDI (Executive Status - Forfait Jours). Location: Orgon (13) + targeted travel to logistics sites.
- Remuneration: 55 K€ to 70 K€ depending on profile (Fixed annual package + variable) + profit sharing / incentive schemes + meal vouchers (8 €/day).
