Functional Manual Tester
Responsibilities:
Review business and functional requirements to develop appropriate test scenarios. Create and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Identify, document, track, and retest software defects. Verify that applications meet specified business and functional requirements. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members. Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and usability problems. Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing results to stakeholders. Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to overall quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manual Tester, QA Tester, or Functional Tester. Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC. Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira or similar platforms. Strong analytical, documentation, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices is an advantage.
