SOMMELIER / SOMMELIERE (M/F)

As part of the upgrading of our establishment and the development of our oenological offering, we are looking for a Sommelier / Sommelière to join and accompany the evolution of our catering team.

You will have a central role in the management and development of our cellar, as well as in the evolution of our wine list, while actively participating in the experience offered to our clients.

YOUR MISSIONS:

• Ensure the daily management of the cellar and the storage of wines.
• Control stocks, entries and exits, as well as inventories.
• Verify supplies and receive orders.
• Participate in ordering from suppliers.
• Participate in the creation and updating of the wine list.
• Advise and serve clients.
• Ensure wine service in the dining room.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• We are looking for a person passionate about wine, curious, and eager to participate fully in an upgrading project.
• Training in sommellerie or significant experience in a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of Burgundy wines and great viticultural terroirs.
• Experience in a gastronomic restaurant or a high-end establishment would be appreciated.
• Sense of organization and rigor in cellar management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of service.
• Ability to advise a demanding clientele.
• Curiosity, autonomy, and ability to propose ideas.
• Team spirit.
• Professional English is mandatory.

CONDITIONS:

CDI - 39 hours per week 4 working days per week in continuous service Position based in Vosne-Romanée (21). Remuneration according to profile and experience.
