Teacher

Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics effectively at the appropriate secondary school levels. Support the teaching of Mathematics at the JSS level when required Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, BECE and other relevant examinations Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, tests and examinations Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate support and feedback Use appropriate digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning Maintain good classroom management and create a positive learning environment Participate in academic activities, assessments, and other school programmes Work collaboratively with other teachers and contribute to the academic development of the Academy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Education or a closely related field. Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience. Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. Ability to teach both JSS and SSS students is an advantage. Experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, JAMB or BECE is highly desirable. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to use digital learning tools effectively. Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic success. Candidates who live in Aguda, Surulere, Yaba, Ojuelegba, Itire, Lawanson, Ijeshatedo, Mushin or nearby areas are particularly encouraged to apply. A Teacher who is not only knowledgeable but can explain difficult concepts clearly, solve problems confidently, and inspire students to achieve excellent results. Candidates should be prepared to participate in a teaching demonstration and interview as part of the selection process.
