After-Sales Service Technician for Industrial Machines (M/F)
Job Description:
As part of their interventions, the employee is notably responsible for: Ensuring the assembly, adjustment, and fine-tuning of complete machines and lines, both in the workshop and directly at client sites.
Carrying out modification and improvement interventions as part of after-sales service operations.
Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions of mechanical origin or related to automation, in the workshop, at client sites, or remotely.
Supporting clients in the use and operation of equipment, by providing technical support remotely or on-site.
Carrying out mechanical modifications and automation adaptations according to the needs expressed by clients.
Identifying and reporting technical information regarding machine operation to the relevant departments.
Maintaining a watch on technological evolutions and solutions developed on the market.
Training users and client teams on the operation and use of equipment.
Performing technical audits and diagnostics, both at client sites and in the workshop.
Writing intervention reports and ensuring the transmission of information to their hierarchy.
Ensuring compliance with intervention deadlines and commitments made to clients.
Participating in internal meetings and exchanges with clients when these are related to an intervention or a technical project.
Profile Description:
Technical Skills: Mastery of technical basics in mechanics and pneumatics: reading plans, assembly, adjustment, and fitting of simple or complex mechanical elements.
School-level English required.
Ability to perform rework and simple machining operations: drilling, boring, grinding, cutting, and welding.
Good knowledge of electrotechnics and the ability to read and utilize electrical diagrams.
Knowledge of automation and the ability to read and modify a program.
Ability to autonomously take charge of the fine-tuning of a machine, from the preparation of documentation and monitoring of points to be addressed to the preparation of the shipment of necessary parts.
Ability to follow schedules and respect defined deadlines.
Ability to formalize the interventions carried out and to report any difficulties encountered.
Aptitude to advise, support, and train users.
Ability to provide technical support to various internal interlocutors.
Proactive in identifying solutions to improve the safety and performance of lines.
Ability to manage complex technical interventions, particularly on prototype machines or within the framework of engineering projects, until final acceptance by the client.
Personal Qualities: Rigor and attention to detail. Logical mindset and good reasoning skills, particularly for calculating cadences and speeds. Organization and method. Autonomy in performing interventions.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to adapt to different environments, schedule changes, and the specificities of each client.
