*LCBC Program Coordinator ? Independent Contractor*

Latincouver Cultural & Business Society is a non-profit organization that connects Latin Americans and Latin culture enthusiasts across Western Canada. We support cultural exchange, community development, and economic inclusion.

We are seeking a proactive and organized *LCBC Program Coordinator* to support the development and coordination of the Latin-Canadian Business Council (LCBC) and its programs.

*Position Details*

  • Position type: Part-time independent contractor
  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Contract fee: CAD $1,647 per month, based on approximately 20 hours per week
  • Location: In-person in Vancouver, BC
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Coordinate LCBC programs, workshops, networking activities, and events.
  • Manage event logistics, registrations, speakers, partners, and participant communications.
  • Support LCBC members with onboarding, inquiries, engagement, follow-ups, and renewals.
  • Promote LCBC memberships, programs, events, products, and services.
  • Support business development, membership growth, sales, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members, businesses, entrepreneurs, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, interns, and other project contributors.
  • Track memberships, sales, participation, and program activities and provide progress reports.

*Requirements and Skills*

  • Education or relevant experience in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Development, or a related field.
  • Experience in program coordination, events, sales, memberships, business development, or community engagement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with presentations, networking, outreach, sales, and professional follow-ups.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel locally within Metro Vancouver.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic data-tracking or CRM tools.
  • English is required; Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
