Front Desk -Customer Service Representative, Lapland Safaris Ylläs
Lapland Staff is looking for Front Desk – Customer Service Representatives for Lapland Safaris' various locations for the winter season 2026–2027. We are looking for Front Desk - Customer Service Representatives in Levi and Ylläs.
A front desk – customer service representative is a true multi-tasker; in your job, you serve our international and domestic customers. You help our customers choose the service that suits them best, make bookings, and handle the matter forward. The front desk service point also handles equipment rental, the Safari Shop store, and the pricing and display of its products. Additionally, your tasks include cash terminal work and assisting customers at the start of safaris. Front Desk customer service representatives work very closely with other teams, such as operational sales and production.
However, the work is not done solely face-to-face at the customer service point, as part of your work takes place in the back office with various systems. We expect good IT skills and the ability to manage several systems. Various back-office tasks include, among others, making and managing bookings, responding to customer messages via email and telephone, and communicating with stakeholders. A large part of the work is done over the phone, so we require a readiness for customer service performed via telephone.
Responding to customer feedback and communicating on social media are also often part of the front desk job description, but the emphasis of the tasks varies by location and also within the season. The front desk often also assists the equipment team in distributing equipment to customers and assisting customers with dressing.
In Levi, your work may be face-to-face customer service or independent work in the back office depending on the shift. Work is done in three different shifts.
In Ylläs, work is done face-to-face at the safari house reception. Selling safaris as well as customer service performed via telephone and email is part of the daily work. Equipment rental is also part of the job description. Work is done in two shifts.
We expect from you:
- Customer service skills and a sales-oriented mindset
- A proactive attitude as well as enthusiasm to learn new things
- Excellent cooperation and interaction skills
- Problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
- Accuracy, which is required, for example, in handling money and balancing the cash register
- Fluent English language skills; other languages, especially French, are considered an advantage.
We offer you:
- Top-notch team support and a varied job description
- An international work community
- The beautiful natural landscapes of Lapland
- An easy way to come to Lapland to work
- Numerous leisure activity opportunities
- Lapland Hotels & Safaris' comprehensive employee benefits. You will receive benefits including equipment rental, restaurants, and lift passes for Lapland Ski Resorts ski resorts.
