Lapland Staff is looking for equipment workers and activity guides for the Lapland Safaris Hetta location, as well as equipment workers for Lapland Safaris Olos for the 2026 Christmas season.

The duties of an equipment worker include taking care of the winter equipment used in international groups' safari programs. You will help customers dress appropriately for safaris or for a few days of vacation. After the safari, you are responsible for washing and organizing overalls, beanies, socks, and other items. You will ensure the cleanliness and good order of the customer areas. The work is an important part of the success of the safari programs and is done in a team.

Activity guides work outdoors in a Christmas-themed activity area, bringing joy and guiding international Christmas groups, which consist mainly of families. The work is independent, but at the same time, there are several colleagues in the area, meaning the work is done within a large team. Your workstation could be a sled or snowmobile hill, rotating the snowmobile ring, or serving gingerbread and storytelling in a snow castle.

The work of an activity guide is an important part of the whole, and every employee is responsible for good customer service and safety at their own workstation. The tasks also include preparing the activity area before customers arrive and cleaning the area after the program has ended.

In Hetta, equipment workers also work shifts as activity guides for our Christmas-themed activities.

In Olos, equipment workers take care of the distribution and maintenance of Charter guests' clothing in the Lapland Hotels Olos environment.

Communication with customers and colleagues takes place mainly in English. Your English skills do not need to be excellent, but you must be able to give dressing instructions, answer customers' questions briefly, or direct questions to another colleague.

We expect from you:

  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Flexibility and ability to handle pressure
  • Good group management skills
  • Christmas spirit and readiness to work with families, especially children.

We offer you:

  • A pleasant work team and a wonderful working environment
  • Good outdoor work clothes
  • An easy way to come to Lapland to work
  • Lapland Hotels & Safaris' comprehensive staff benefits. You receive benefits including equipment rentals, restaurants, and lift passes for Lapland Ski Resorts ski resorts.

Lapland Safaris organizes a paid orientation for the new employee at the start of the employment.

The employment is a fixed-term position in accordance with the collective agreement for the program services sector. Work begins in November and lasts until the beginning of January. Salary is at least according to the Program Services sector TES salary table difficulty group A, starting from 10.10 € / hour. We expect you to be ready to work also on weekends and public holidays. Accommodation will be arranged in shared rooms if necessary, at a reasonable rent compared to local price levels.

Please note that Lapland Safaris is a smoke-free workplace.

Interviews and selections are carried out during the application period, so please apply soon! Positions are filled as suitable people are found.
