Cybersecurity Specialist

At Covalto, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to contribute to strengthening the security of our technological infrastructure, ensuring the correct implementation and operation of security controls, as well as compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to our Payment Systems (SPEI). This position will interact with Technology, Legal, Internal Control, and Controllership teams, in addition to participating in the handling of audits and requirements from regulatory bodies.

What will you do?

• Evaluate and implement security controls on the technological infrastructure.
• Design, execute, and document technical control tests related to the SPEI infrastructure.
• Monitor the correct functioning of the implemented security controls.
• Develop procedures and manuals related to security processes.
• Prepare technical evidence for internal and external audits.
• Follow up on audit findings and coordinate their technical remediation.
• Manage vulnerabilities and generate remediation plans.
• Propose continuous improvement actions to strengthen risk indicators.
• Ensure the proper implementation of security controls to mitigate technological risks.

What do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Systems, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions within Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Experience with security technologies and solutions such as: Firewalls IPS/IDS WAF SIEM DLP EDR / Antimalware PAM Vulnerability management platforms
• Experience in security for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of access controls, GPOs, and patch management.
• Experience reviewing the functioning of security controls in infrastructure.
• Experience in handling and following up on regulatory requirements.

It will be a plus if you have:

• Experience in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of Banco de México and CNBV regulation.
• Knowledge of Apéndice M de Seguridad.
• Experience related to SPEI.
• CISM or CEH certification.
• Intermediate technical English.
