Azure Development and Applications Executive

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the coding, documentation, testing, and deployment of application developments in the Azure backend components of the Coca-Cola FEMSA EDB, addressing initiatives, changes, and improvements required in IT projects, aligned with the governance model, strategic objectives, and the company's best practices.

Your day-to-day combines development and quality: you will address requirements ranging from new developments to technical improvements to existing ones, generate the necessary technical-functional documentation, and accompany the execution of tests to ensure correct functioning in production. This is not a support role; it is a development role, although you are part of an area that also provides support outside of working hours, so availability and a service attitude are key.

Specifically:

• Develop applications in the Azure components of the EDB to meet the different operational needs of IT projects
• Address requirements for new developments and technical improvements to existing ones in Azure
• Generate the necessary technical-functional documentation, complying with the methodology and current standards in the company
• Diagnose errors and exceptions that occur in the execution of EDB Azure developments in production environments
• Accompany and ensure the functioning of developments through unit testing and assembly testing of the different components of the solution
• Provide support and guidance to IT teams for the deployment of new functionalities in production environments
• Perform CodeReviews and Quality Assurance of the programs and artifacts generated by the AMS development teams
• Design algorithms and performant solutions for the resolution of requirements

What we are looking for

Indispensable:

• Technical experience in Azure, including DevOps, Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and Kibana
• Solid knowledge of .NET, C#, and Scala for Azure platforms, as well as Java or Python
• 3 to 5 years or more of experience as a developer or systems integrator on Azure platforms
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or DevOps
• Intermediate level English
• Bachelor's degree or engineering in computer systems or a related field

Bonus points if you have:

• Certification as a Backend or Fullstack developer on Microsoft platforms
• Knowledge of API Management and AKS
• Experience collaborating with support areas, managing permissions, access, and requests from different cells or projects
• Service attitude and availability to collaborate outside of working hours when the area requires it
