Field Service Engineer

Independence, variety, and working at various locations in (mainly) the Netherlands and Europe, that is what you want! Whether it is maintaining our packaging machines at a logistics center or resolving a malfunction for a customer in the food industry: you are up for the challenge. You are an experienced Field Service Engineer, possess sound (control) technical knowledge, and can handle a dynamic schedule well. Because we realize that free time is also important, you will be home (almost) every weekend with us.

Your challenge as a Field Service Engineer We believe it is important that you get to know our box and tray handling machines well. Therefore, under the guidance of an experienced Field Service Engineer, you will first start with the maintenance of our machines. You will learn our machines and techniques step by step and develop yourself broadly in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and control engineering. Ultimately, your challenge lies in the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of all our machines, and you will travel independently from home. You will work at various customer locations in the Netherlands and Europe, occasionally outside of it, but always in a safe country. On-site, you are our 'calling card' and the first point of contact for Lantech.

Who are we? We are Lantech; a healthy and growing international organization within machine manufacturing. We design, build, and provide service to packaging machines, transport modules, and other ancillary systems. We have branches in the Netherlands, America, Australia, and China. Your background as a Field Service Engineer A completed MBO education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;

A number of years of work experience as a Field Service Engineer and/or Technician;

Knowledge of control engineering, frequency converters, servo drives, and/or pneumatics is a plus;

Good communication skills;

A flexible and customer-oriented attitude;

The willingness to eventually participate in on-call services (telephone availability 1x every approx. 8 weeks);

A good command of the English language. German is a plus.
