Balance Sheet Accountant (m/f/d)

Support in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as in the preparation of relevant closing work Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments Execution and supervision of intercompany accounting as well as reconciliation of intra-group business transactions Preparation of VAT advance notifications and support with VAT-related issues Preparation and verification of Recapitulative Statements (ZM-Meldungen) Support and processing of factoring processes as well as ongoing reconciliation of relevant business transactions Execution of controls, reconciliations, and analyses to ensure high data and booking quality Participation in the optimization and further development of financial processes and workflows Creation of evaluations and analyses in the finance area Close cooperation with internal and external contact persons as well as international interfaces Completed training as a certified Balance Sheet Accountant (national or international) or a completed Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in the accounting of an international company Very good knowledge of SAP (R3/HANA) as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel Sound knowledge in the area of VAT as well as experience with ZM-Meldungen Experience in handling intercompany accounting is an advantage Knowledge in the area of factoring is desirable Strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured, precise, and independent way of working High affinity for numbers, quick comprehension, and enjoyment in solving complex issues Good written and spoken English skills for communication in an international environment Hands-on mentality as well as flexibility in dealing with changing requirements Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a reliable way of working Work environment: interesting field of activity with exciting development opportunities and plenty of room for co-creation in an international environment, personal and professional support from A to Z Workplace: attractive office space with a roof terrace and view of the Rhine in the Malakoff Passage with very good transport connections Work organization: flexible working hours and the possibility of mobile working Further development: training opportunities tailored to your needs and skills.
