At the Schrems production site, we are currently expanding our capacities in the area of highly automated production as well as low-voltage systems, which are being implemented in a new modern manufacturing hall.

For our plant in Schrems, we are looking for a: 1 Process Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Development and optimization of an end-to-end manufacturing process for low-voltage switchgear, from material preparation through assembly, wiring, testing to FAT, as well as the development of scalable, industrial production concepts

• Creation and maintenance of work plans, standard operating procedures, process parameters, and assembly sequences, including the definition of standard times and ensuring shopfloor suitability

• Planning and design of efficient workstations and production lines with a focus on ergonomics, safety, and productivity

• Continuous improvement of processes by identifying and eliminating waste, bottlenecks, and non-value-adding activities, as well as leading Kaizen and CI initiatives

• Close cooperation with electrical and mechanical engineering to validate designs, provide feedback on series problems, and support changes and product introductions

Your profile

• Completed technical studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering or a comparable activity

• Experience in electromechanical assembly, switchgear or control cabinet construction, or with complex industrial products is an advantage

• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes as well as ideally experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

• Confident handling of technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) as well as experience with ERP systems, work plans, routings, and production systems

• Structured and analytical way of working, strong hands-on mentality, and strong communication skills

We offer performance-oriented and attractive compensation according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry. If all requirements are met, a gross annual salary of €65,000 is intended for this position. Depending on qualification and experience, overpayment is provided. Automatic advancements and a corresponding increase in wages after 2 / 4 / 7 / 10 years are regulated in the collective agreement.
