Within the editorial team of Le Livre de Poche, and under the responsibility of the Editorial Director, you will be in charge of the editorial and administrative follow-up of works in the "policier-thriller" collection. Your main missions will be as follows:

  • Prospection and acquisition: research, market monitoring and prospection abroad, reading, examination of titles, acquisition proposals (reprints and new titles), formulation of offers, negotiations, projected operating accounts.
  • Development of an editorial program in line with the strategic axes set by management.
  • Editorial follow-up of works (new releases and backlist): briefs and follow-up of covers, writing of sales arguments and various documents, follow-up of specimens, presentation of titles.
  • Work in connection with different departments: rights, studio, manufacturing, communication, press, marketing, and sales.
  • Relationship management: maintaining relations with authors, partner publishers, and French and foreign agents.
  • Representation during various events: fairs, trade shows, and meetings.

With higher education (master's or equivalent), you have proven successful experience in publishing of at least 5 years in a similar position. You have fluent English, possess good writing skills, perfect spelling, and master office tools.
