Beyond consolidation work, you will play a key role in analyzing regulatory changes, preparing financial statements and notes, and drafting the Group accounting manual. We are looking for a professional recognized for their technical rigor, analytical skills, and writing abilities, capable of transforming complex accounting subjects into clear positions. The Group Accounting Department is responsible, for the Lagardère and Louis Hachette Group* groups, for consolidation and the administration of tools (SAP FC / ANAPLAN / Fluence DM), IFRS standards, regulated financial Reporting, and the accounting for headquarters companies and Lagardère News/Radio. *(resulting from the partial spin-off of Vivendi SE and has been listed on Euronext Growth Paris since December 16, 2024. It holds 66.29% of Lagardère SA and 100% of Prisma Group SAS as of December 31, 2025). Missions Directly reporting to the Consolidation and Standards Manager, the main responsibilities of the Senior Consolidation Specialist, for the Lagardère and Louis Hachette Group groups, are as follows:

  • Consolidation:
  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated accounts in IFRS as a whole in liaison with operational entities and the Group's management controllers:

o Monthly closings: analysis and validation of cross-functional technical consolidation topics; o Semi-annual and annual closings: analysis and control of balance sheet and income statement items;

  • Be in charge of cross-functional topics: IAS 19, IFRS 2 with the help of a consolidation specialist.
  • Accounting standards and procedures:
  • Actively participate in the preparation of accounts and notes to the IFRS financial statements (URD and semi-annual financial report) for both the Lagardère and Louis Hachette Group;
  • Ensure active monitoring of IFRS standard developments and analyze their impact on the Group's financial statements;
  • Participate in the definition and dissemination of the Group accounting framework;
  • Contribute to the drafting, updating, and enrichment of the Group accounting standards guide, in collaboration with the business branches' finance teams.
  • Other missions:
  • Participate in the project to change the consolidation software (SAP FC);
  • Participate in ad hoc missions assigned by Management.

Profile With higher education in accounting (MSTCF, Master CCA, DCG, DSCG,...) or business school, the candidate has a minimum of 8 years of operational experience in consolidation, ideally with a mixed background in audit and corporate environments, within a standards and/or consolidation department. Mastery of IFRS standards is a prerequisite. A professional level of English is required. Particular competence is expected in writing and communication skills. The sought-after candidate must demonstrate rigor, a taste for teamwork, excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, a sense of initiative, and the ability to work in project mode.
