ASSISTANT IT MANAGER M/F

What will you do? As Assistant to the IT Manager, you will play an important role in the smooth operation and further development of the IT environment of Lagardère Travel Retail Belgium. Your responsibilities include, among others: Supporting the IT Manager in the daily management and follow-up of IT activities

Coordinating internal and external IT technicians

Acting as a link between the various departments to facilitate cooperation and the resolution of IT problems

Collaborating on IT projects regarding upgrades, migrations, and integrations

Contributing to the further development of the SAP and SQL Server environments and the IT infrastructure in the stores

Supervising the proper functioning of the systems, servers, and IT infrastructure

What are we looking for in you? A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in IT

Good knowledge of SAP, SQL Server, Windows, Active Directory, networks, and .NET.

A strong curiosity and the motivation to continuously further develop your IT knowledge.

A good team spirit, smooth communication skills, and a strong sense of service.

A structured, organized, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach.

Flexibility, responsiveness, and good stress resistance.

Leadership potential and the ambition to grow further in your responsibilities.

Excellent command of Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other national language and English.
