Gastro Department Manager / Deli Manager

For our client, a leading Irish food and convenience retailer in the city of Limerick, Ireland, we are looking for a Gastro Department Manager / Deli Manager.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Gastro department/Fresh Food Manager or similar
- Previous experience working in a canteen, fast food, or a restaurant
- HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent customer service, good leadership, and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
- A good level of English is required
About the job:
- Permanent, full-time position
- If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying 500 € (utilities included) per month for a private room in the nearby area
- Salary after tax in Ireland for this Gastro department Manager role will be 2.612 € - 2.793 € net per month (37.000 € - 40.000 € gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week
- Your duties will be: overseeing operations, inspecting food quality and display case presentation, managing food safety practices and cleaning, managing other food preparation employees, ensuring quality customer service
